The Art of Lucie Dumas

I am a self-taught and self-representing artist living in the province of Quebec in Canada with my wonderful husband.

As long as I can remember, I have a pencil in my hand and a paper in front of me! When I was young I was drawing all the time. I won a drawing contest on a TV show when I was 7 years old. I knew that I could work as an artist, designer or decorator but I ended up studying to become a hairdresser. That's what I did for a few years. Then I worked as secretary, buyer and others. Meanwhile I was painting for myself and did some artwork for others, I also did paintings and faux-finishes on furniture and I continue to do it. But in 2007 when I discovered that I could sell my paintings and drawings on Ebay, I was so enthousiast!! Finally I came back to my first "love": painting and drawing! Since then I have sold more than a thousand paintings and prints and my original artwork and prints are collected from collectors all over the world.

I really want to thank all of you who have supported my art since my beginning on Ebay. What happens to me now is a dream come true! I am committed to continue working hard and give you my best!
